XHTML is the now

So I was talking to a web designer who lives in NY and he was telling me about XHTML & CSS. Apparently thats what all web designers do. Talk about the web and web standards. Obviously TheTanziers.com had been mentioned by me and that it was a new site built from scratch.
What are you coding the site with?
I’m using dream weaver.
Ah, sweet. So your coding in XHTML/CSS.
[look out for the trademark Ummn]
Umnn, don’t think so.
You using the new DW right?
No, I still haven’t fully learned this one and I’m not gonna shell out for the upgrade.
A fool amidst us I see

Anyway I saw his point to shut him up. And with this useful link I could convert my html pages to xhtml. Nice one.

the tanziers baby

Been slowly tinkering away at thetanziers.com, main website. For the record, this blog was here first. I’m pretty excited about the creation and at what public opinion may be. Learned my lesson last time about showing off a half finished site, won’t make that mistake again. Normally in the creation phase I set IE to open the site so I can get 1. get snapshots of how the site is developing and 2 due to the amount of time it can take I use it as a test bed to see how long it takes before I get bored of the site.
But seeing users reaction is way kewl. And the reaction of page 2 was pretty good better than I was expecting. But that was just one person, still not ready for release.
