Been out today taking pics. One would think it must have been a nice day. Yeah right. So windy, unbelievable. Should have taken a comb with me :) hair was all over the place. Not done much photography for a long time. A few people kind of inspired me plus I do have the tools laying about. Sticking with good ol’ 35 mm simply because I haven’t invested in digital yet. Although I did buy one for my sister, who’s birthday it was beginning of March.

Last attempt I had with this camera, the pictures didn’t come out too well :/ Today I re-learned about the iris and was figuring out which lens was best to use for which shot. In the end I decided to stick with the standard 55 mm lens. Its light as well, the big one is a bit heavy specially with this type of wind.

Kept the camera on automatic mode last time I messed the settings up. Also used a 400 ISO film at first I thought it was a bad move but judging by the amount of light it may have been a wise choice. I’ll post them up soon as I get the film back, which may be a few weeks away as I’ve yet to finish the film.

Also there’s something about lone horses standing in vast fields. Need to find some horses and somewhere where I can pull off a decent shot with out the wind assisting my attempts.

:: groan ::

Ain’t it sad when life kinda starts to suck. Work sux which makes it worse and the people you used to enjoy being around with you no longer wish to know.

Technically I’ve been pretty busy, got a new local web server for testing purposes. Can’t wait to get back into creating sites again. Just feel too busy and tired lately :(

Got some pretty decent kewl stuff actually. Birthday coming up and I know what I’m getting cos I bought it myself :)

I hope to practice a little drawing as well and also set up my dual screen setup.
