Recently lost my main windows machine, but thats a different story.

If your anything like me you probably customize your machine to make it look and work exactly the way you want. I’m not one to go over the top. One thing that I never really have changed is the default windows sound.

A thought crossed my mind. Since it is in essence a form of greeting almost to the tune of a loved one. I said almost well to geeks it is the only love.

So one switches their machine on to hear, in a cute voice something kewl and witty. Now this brings a smile to your face. Isn’t that nice. This goes on for a while and even your friend wonders where that voice came from last time he was around.

Now say things which where going well slowly are not so well. That sweet voice suddenly sounds very freaking annoying.

You put up with it for a week. Before you know a month has passed. Things haven’t improved and the machine you use to get away from it all talks to you in a snake like poison tongue. Removing the voice is only part of it. What about the pictures that are scattered around almost in every directory. Even the damn cursor she chose.

There is only one way out of this hell. Erase, rewind don’t look back… Format that part of my life, never to make the same wretched mistake ever again.
