Congrats to my bro who got married recently.
Sinking ship
We’re on a sinking ship. When a ship starts to sink people jump off. Show me some hope and I’ll stay and help.
Give me back my time
Whilst carrying out a miniscule task. He pondered what if one could buy back their time.
So heres the question. You work for money. Or maybe even for the love of it. Iregardless, at some point of your life you must have worked for x amount an hour. Now, if you could, given the chance, would you buy back hours to do with what you please ? In essence having those hours again to do with as you want.
Dr Divx V2 open source
Dr Divx encoder version 2 has been released for beta which you can download from the following link

Dr Divx was made open source earlier this year by divx.com and is an application which you can use to convert video into divx files simply and easily.
Archiving old emails
Whilst checking through his old emails he discovered he still had unread emails dating back to 2003 and 2004.
Upon starting my email client on Friday at work. A helpful hint was shown on my email application. Stating that the email client would run quicker if the in and out trays had less emails and creating another folder to store these emails in, would be a good idea.
I use Eudora which is an excellent email client if you receive lots of emails. I receive my fair share on my own accounts. Also lots at work. So my first choice is always Eudora. Next would be Mozilla’s Thunderbird email client, also a worthy choice.
So I created new folders one for 2003 and then one for 2004. Yes, I still have emails lurking from back then. I then created in and out trays, moved the relevent emails. Out of curiosity I wondered what type of emails I had received back then. I realized I had a fair amount of emails which I had not bothered reading >_< guess there is always next year for those : )
Bush in court
” While most would agree that serving as president of the United States is more pressing than serving as foreman of a jury, McLennan County officials are waiting for Crawford resident George W. Bush, potential juror number 286, to respond to a summons to report Monday for jury duty. ” (source)
Not for the injustice he has done to the world, but he has been called for jury service as well. *laughs* In his hometown of Texas. Unike him I have to go.
Jury service
Welcome to December. The nights are frosting over. In the morning the car has ice on the windscreen. Work is too cold. And there is no snow! yet. We can see that love is definitely being spread. Where exactly I’m not sure but trust me, it is.
Last month I received a letter from the HM Court Service. Thats Her Majisty’s Courts Service Jury Central Summoning Bureau. Yeah I nearly wet myself as well. I thought for a few minutes they’d caught onto why I travelled to Columbia last year. But I just went for a holiday ya know, seriously!
Anyway cutting to the chase they want me to be at one of the main court houses as a juror, on some serious crime. And when they want me to be present, what hurts me the most, Jan the 3rd 2006. Jeez!
Basically I have to sit in court for two full weeks. Listening to various different cases and criminal activities to kick off my ‘happy new year’. If a person wasn’t a criminal before this, they’re going to be fully trained after this. I mean, for two weeks a person gets trained on exactly how some dumbass got caught, by going through various different scenarios. There is no question that they’re not guilty. Damn right they are, otherwise they wouldn’t be there.
So thats how my new year is going to start off ;( wish me well.
