I was at the NEC Autoshow in Birmingham UK last weekend. It was lots of fun, plenty of world class cars sprinkled with a few babes too. The event is held annually and is one of the biggest of its kind. People from all over the world travel to this event. It also features an indoor show with rally cars, you can see a short clip above of the cars sliding around.
I actually went thanks to a recommendation from Elton. Who really has amazing taste. We met up with a few of his buddies who were very kewl people.
I took lots of pics which you can see in the following gallery http://yink.net/photo/ click on the menu - 2007 then NEC Auto show. The show covered a wide variety of cars from the old MK1 ford escorts and older to the new Aston Martin £750,000 Le Mans car.
I was really chuffed to see the F1 McLaren GTR on show I even touched it ^_^ it was a car I didn’t ever expect to see in person so it was very kewl to see it on display. Looking forward to meeting up with the guys at other shows and deffo recommend anyone who has even a little incline towards motor cars to check this show out, the next one will be in Jan 2008.
I’m glad you enjoyed it Yas. The Autosport International is a great event to see racing cars up close. I have been to several over the last few years and each one of them are fantastic.

I don’t know about cars, but this vid is awesome and spectacular.
Plus the photographs you got there are beautiful… Almost got me interested in race cars besause the designs, the materials, the lights on the colors are sooo yummi.^^

I learned from Mike, take the shots of the pretty women early in the morning and the cars in the evening. I told him that kind of thing doesn’t interest me. I’m there for the cars.
Ah Flo you would like it, maybe even from a set design perspective, the lighting I only realised after is pretty darn good in that arena, but it is a world class event.
Does all look very entertaining, both the beautiful motors and errr… the beautiful women.
