If indeed anything can be happy in a world that is experiencing a terrible recession yet can't shake itself away form the abusive partner that is capitalism. however on a lighter note the RSC's Hamlet that aired over Christmas is enough to give even the most pessimistic person hope that culture hasn't died yet.
